The fly harvest is just beginning in Western Kenya, and in Nandi county Lot 20 are celebrating the first fully operational season of their newly registered Cooperative: Kolik.
Field officers and farmers gathered at the washing station for a demonstration lead by station manager Chiri of washed coffee protocols and cherry quality criteria. Also in attendance were officers from the County’s government, who presented farmers with certificates of registration with Kolik Cooperative.
Kolik will be focused solely on the production of Lot 20’s washed coffees, using their triple ferment, triple wash process.
