Visiting Rwamatamu for harvest

Head of Coffee Dave has taken a trip down to Rwamatamu Coffee, Rwanda, to help the team in designing this harvest’s lots. This task involves cupping the many coffees that Rwamatamu have received from their farmers and grouping them together by their flavour profiles.

Dave also assisted in lot groupings last year, and though the coffees that came out of it were extremely well received, both he and Rwamatamu want to improve the process by having fewer overall lots, which will make the milling and export process much simpler.

Already at Rwamatamu is Fiona from Glen Lyon, who Dave will be joining alongside Peter from James Gourmet Coffee, Dom Pulleyn, and Sidney from Lot 20. All are going to be lending a hand as the harvest nears its end.
