With the Tanzania harvest season winding down, the team at Ngila are working to strip all the coffee trees of their crop, whether that be perfectly ripe cherries, pinheads just beginning to form, or overripe cherries that have turned bad. This process will reset the farm ready for the next season to begin.
Some coffee trees have already begun to flower, while others are still spiking - deciding whether or not it is the right time to do so.
Besides stripping trees, other activities at the moment include cleaning and pruning - opening up the trees to receive more light.
