The team at Rwamatamu have just received their Sustainable Agriculture Certification from the Rainforest Alliance, an achievement which requires no small amount of paperwork, as well as fees paid to auditing bodies and the Rainforest Alliance themselves for selling coffee with their certification.
Despite the fees, Rwamatamu now have a lot more documentation of their supply chain available to share upon request. RFA certification can also make their coffee more appealing toward bulk-buyers.
