Meet Mukamunana Beata, one of the farmers that works with Rwamatamu through their Women’s Cooperative initiative.
Dale recently spoke with Mukamunana on a visit to Rwanda, where she told him about how the income she earns from farming coffee has allowed her to put 5 of her children through university to earn their master’s degrees.
To supplement her income, Mukamunana also makes clothes to sell on her knitting machine, which is a very cool and complex bit of kit.
The Rwanda harvest is past its busiest period now, and we’ve just received our first few samples to begin selecting lots, so we’re looking forward to tasting the hard work of Mukamunana and the other members of the Women’s Cooperative.
