Sidney Kibet, co-founder of Lot 20 coffee in Kenya has been meeting with Mr Tuei, an experienced farmer with a rare orchard of Blue Mountain coffee.
Last year we purchased Mr Tuei’s coffee through Lot 20, calling it ‘Lion Slayer’ after a nickname that Mr Tuei’s friends refer to him as.
We’ll be getting more Lion Slayer coffee from the most recent Kenya harvest, and are eager to help revive this classic variety that has fallen out of favour with growers in Kenya.
