Heavy rainfall at the end of 2025 and beginning of 2026 has caused severe flooding in Southern Mozambique as the river Limpopo overflows, displacing thousands of people as their homes become uninhabitable.
Though a safe distance from the ongoing floods, our friends at Agrotur in Chimanimani have still been affected by the extreme weather. The rain and wind damaged Agrotur’s warehouse where they were storing their coffee, and some of it has been exposed to water and high humidity. The team are currently evaluating how much of their coffee is still viable.
