Producer Agri Evolve are just one of the businesses that have joined forces to fund health insurance, vaccines, and quality healthcare for over 50,000 coffee farmers and their families.
In a project coordinated by Elucid, survey teams, health service providers, and coffee producers are being brought together to collaborate on creating accessible healthcare for several rural regions in Uganda - including the Rwenzoris.
Households registered under this scheme will gain cashless access to vetted clinics and pharmacies for essential, maternal, and emergency care, complemented by mobile clinics offering services such as eye screenings and other preventive care.
