The government of Burundi officially opened the country’s coffee season last week, though farms have been harvesting cherries since early March.
As of Friday the 10th of April, Migoti’s main washing station in Mutambu has received 74,000kgs of cherries, and their station in Kinama has received 38,000kgs.
Processing is in full swing, and the team have shared a few photos of the current operations!
