The results of Mozambique’s recent 2024 elections has led to nation-wide protests that are affecting government operations and national supply chains.
Our Mozambican producer partner, Agrotur, told us “We're a facing some difficulty to have a phytosanitary certificate to send the samples. But I hope this week we can solve the problem. Since 21th October we're witnessing post electoral violence and the institution are not functioning normally. But we're still working to organize our coffee to be ready to delivery to you, maybe we can reach 15 metric tons this season. But we will do our best to send to you the samples.”
